i went to the lab place thing today and i remembered that i had left some film there about 6 months ago.
theyre from some strange idea i had about kids and bibles.
as i recall it was just an image that appeared in my mind during photo class.
i think thats all it is really.

Im done!
a 20 piece portfolio (including figure drawings), a sketchbook, 6 HOMETEST QUESTIONS,a 9-part questionnaire in 20 days.
I'm sure i fucked up some technicality, and I'm also pretty sure I'm not gonna get in.
I'm just proud of myself for doing it.
i find that the stress still lingers.
my main regret is not including concept explanations for some of my hometest pieces.
only a month and a half till i find out!yipee!
ill post my hometest on the 21st.

I've never been under so much pressure in my life...
but its a good pressure
its like im making up for all the work I didnt do in high school.
im getting things done.
and its going well.
I hope you like it Cooper Union.
I also hope there isnt a fuckup in the delivery since i'll be sending it off like the day before its due.
For those of you who dont know what the Cooper Union is, its like the M.I.T. of art schools.
out of thousands of applicants they only accept 65.
but its free.
after this weekend I'LL be free.

finally, something awesome
that actually worked out!
aside from today just being generally good,
asher and i just went to the hammer museum in westwood and saw nikki s. lee's new film
we had to sneak in because they said the theater was full.
but that made it so much better.
after the film there was a q&a with the artist and i asked her a question!
although her answer disapointed me.
for those of you who don't know who nikki s. lee is...
shes a performance artist/photographer who looks at different sub-cultures and becomes one of them for a couple months at a time to find out how different groups define themselves.
her work is amazing.
she's done; heroin addict punks, lesbians, cholas, and exotic dancers to name a few.
